Michael David Marshall, the autuer of Moxy (2009), was adamant that the movie be wild, entertaining, and on the punctured edge of good taste. He put a French made in the movie, but it needed more. The original script called for full nudity and a lynching, which is arguably tamer than some of the content in the actual movie. He wanted gallons of blood. There's a scene where a character with a fresh gunshot wound looks like he's been bleeding for hours. There's a scene where hookers chase some people down the street with a baseball bat. The cops got called because people actually believed the actors were working girls having a street brawl. Moxy remains one of Michael David Marshall's most perverse and entertaining short films.
