Kentucky Catfishin' Memorial Day Weekend

We went down to KY for memorial day and did some fishing for a fish fry/cookout. The baits used were Night Crawlers and Big Bite "Chicken Blood" doughbait with Daiichi circle hooks.

Well i have to say nice fish and nice snake i cant tell but it looked like a cottonmouth/water mocosin or a king snake?

My brother (off screen) was saying it was a cotton mouth, I didn't want to get close enough to find out lol, but we did see 4 copperheads on the bank right after filming this, which is when we decided to leave lol

I think that looks like a great day,is that a quarry or a reservoir ?I dont think I've ever seen fresh water that color.Nice to see you get the family out there fishing , cool dog too.

It's a quarry but I think they added some algicide to the water or something, it's pretty green lol

ohh yea im still after the big one me and bill got the last remaining one but the big snakes a hard one to get little smarter stays on that grassy bank and everytime i go down the grass moves and hes gone but bill saw it the last time and he sure didnt want to hang around long even though he was holding the snake we caugt that day lol ohh yea and the vid me and bill did you will have to wait to see it its got some copyright isue i got no idea what its all me and bills work with added music

king sankes dont get in water here diffrent type than that and im jsut guessing im the one that got the snake but its just a plain water snake ive caught alot more from that pond 4 a matter of fact trying to make it safe for me to fish witch they never bug me befor ebut making sure the last for ive just caught and relocated them diffrent places there just a plan water snake the heads round no brows so not posinous or fangs just like any green snake has theeth so to say

It could of been a copperhead too the y dont always look orangeish
