@Lilim27 I raid the Quran and it doesn't say men and women are equal. To be correct, it says they are, then, as all religious works, it contradicts itself by saying that men are "more equal" -whatever that means- than women and are allowed to beat them if they disobey (but gently) and that the woman must be subordinate to the man.
