@MxRider721 jesus christ are you on steroids or something? I just said its personal preference and gave a reason why for me. All youve done is just assert your opinion in a really aggressive way without giving the slightest reasoning. I can only assume you just jumped on the "2 STROKES ARE BETTER THAN 4 STROKES" ten year old bandwagon...
-
Motocross shouldn't be THAT easy. Screw all the "forgiving" BS. Why don't we also add traction control and ABS?
-
@MxRider721 its just personal preference. I prefer four strokes because of the rider friendly way they feel and how forgiving they are with a smoother broader powerband
-
Thanks man but I have understood both engine types for a long time now. Four strokes are only quieter up close, their sound echoes much much farther than a two stroke, hence tracks getting shut down for noise complaints. And IMHO, for motocross racing, the two stroke engine IS hands down better.

@dmoneytuttle no its a KTM with yellow fenders...

@MxRider721 its a difference is stroke time of the engine. 4 strokes have double the stroke time hence they are quieter, so need more cc's to match the equivalent power of a two stroke which strokes faster. so one is not "hands down better", its a difference in engine type. try to understand something before making an argument about it
@ktm525king Im assuming you dont ride.

@Tunknatar
Your f*cking kidding me this is a four stroke he's riding?! In case you didn't understand, that was sarcasm. And a two stroke will outlast a four stroke under the same maintenance schedule.
