1. Yes, basically all RC need maintenance, for the off road RC it is considerably more. However as they are 1/5 scale it is easier, because the part is bigger and easy to handle. After all HPI Baja are known for their easy to tune/maintain ability.
2. Wait for them to answer.
3. Nitro and Gas engine RC don't have reverse (that what I know of), only motor/electric RC can run backward. This can be tackled by converting Baja into electric RC (see castlecreation . com)

@mxf7010g8k i have the same indicision over here mate, but i've been told that a 4x4 version of the 5T will be hitting the shelves soon. it's a KM T2000. so i'm thinking buggy for now, then a 4x4 5T ;)

my body is pretty durable havent had a issue u can get tougher bodies if u are that worried etc

These are not truggies these are trophy or stadium/baja trucks a truggy is a monster truck with a low center of gravity with a wing on the back for down force. Most Savages and Traxxes trucks were turned into those things back in the days i'd say around 2001 when the name truggy was created I guess?

@vivitron78 the rustler is a stadium truck not a truggy truggys have there own style such as 4wd, a wing, and a low slung design

nice vid, how do the bodies usually hold up on those? i'm thinking about getting one but i noticed the bodies are pretty expensive
