My 7002 can be temperamental sometimes. I found out this happened because it was screwed in too tight. I had to loosen it and give it some "room to breathe".

  • is the 7002 the older version of the 7002t?

  • Yes. The 7002T was introduced in 1985, and had a redesigned grille and slightly different strobe.

  • Thats Over powered

  • No, it isn't. It's just screwed too tightly to the backbox, which affects the way the horn sounds and how fast the strobe flashes.

  • Dude that strobe will be damaged

  • Not necessarily. It uses a xenon flashtube which is pretty much the same thing they use in concert strobe lights.
