@cptman56 Costs me $200 a year, built into the Impala. That service provides more than stolen vehicle recovery. Also provides roadside assistance if something happens. Automatic emergency dialing in event of an accident (Great if someone is driving, and unresponsive from accident), or I've pushed it just to ask how is my car doing. They know where the car is if an emergency. I can also remotely start/open/lock the car too, and it's available all over US/Canada :)

@kirbyyasha ...... what's the price of each, so we can compare

@NINOBROWN914 yeah,really, that was a good thing

That looks like it would be really fun for hide and seek...

@mooleyman GPS can lose signal easily when you are in an enclosed area (i.e. the woods, downtown with a lot of skyscrapers, parking garage, etc.). Think about it, why do you think GPS systems say that you must have a clear view of the sky?
-
@kirbyyasha I don't like the idea of a corporation being able to shutdown my car. One disgruntled employee shut down a bunch of random people's cars last year before quitting his job.

@howardsternbobabooey Lojack and/or the police already has your license plate number, vehicle make, model, and year recorded when you have Lojack installed.
-
I'd rather have OnStar, where my car can be disabled, when cops pull up to it, and also give GPS Tracking to the police.
