@bauersnarky In fact, on the Remaster you can very clearly make out the enthusiastic cheer that prompts the comment :)

@bauersnarky Hey, thanks for letting me know. l had it wrong all these years.

OMG I had wished my entire life i could isolate that solo so i could really hear what i have been doing wrong. I could listen to that solo 1000 more times and never get tired of hearing it!!! It is just amazing........

The cool thing about the bass being out of tune, is hr hit dome really deep chords. Dig A Pony is a prime example. He really hits hard on that one
Also his original bass the Hofner ifrst gen was stolen during the taping of Let It Be
My comment is about as trivial is you can get, but... it 's "Thanks, Mal" speaking to Mal Evans, their faithful assistant. ln the movie "Help!", when the guy pops his head up through the 'ice and asks "Excuse me, White Cliffs of Dover?" That's Mal. Among other things he did, the 'bang, bang' on the anvil in Maxwell's Silver Hammer is played by Mal.

@arrseearr Actually, no. It's Paul saying "Thanks, Mo!" in reference to Maureen Starkey's (Ringo's wife) cheering after the performance. Many different outlets have confirmed this. She was up on the roof watching with Yoko and others. Fun fact: the red raincoat Ringo wears was actually Maureen's, which he borrowed for the concert.

For his work with Ray Charles, the Beatles, the Stones and his many solo hits, why is this man not in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame????

@mrtwang32 That's a question I'll never be able to pluck up the courage to ask.
