Well after putting a new transmission, and various other new parts I decided to make a new video of my Grand Prix. My previous video it was all dirty and covered in snow so I figured its time for a new one. Since I bought it, I put in a new transmission (all by myself, first trans swap), motor mounts, ball joints, tie rods, and a starter. As of right now it needs Front struts and an ICM, you can hear in the video when I walk around the passenger side it starts idling high out of no where ,its because the ICM is going bad. Anyway after I do the ICM and struts I plan on doing some body work, it only has one small spot of rust, the rest just needs paint touched up in a few places.

  • I had that exact same car. If the heater coil goes out you might as well scrap it. I cost me allmost $2000 to replace it. Replacement of the coil is 14 hrs on the service book. Don't ever let it overheat.

  • @85gtdrop What is a heater coil? Do you mean heater CORE? In that case, worst case scenario you have to take the dash out (I personally dont even know, ive never replaced it) and its like a $50 part at AutoZone.

  • didnt that car have the analog cluster when you got it? (not the digital speed readout)

  • @metalmaniac622 Yeah but thats not the cluster it came with from the factory, I got a period correct cluster for it.

  • you have a good looking classic

  • @215alessio Not sure what idiots are marking this as spam, but thanks. I unfortunately sold it but I am on the lookout for another one.

  • @xScoobyDoo82x Good Chance finding anither one, here in europe they are rare to impossible to find.

I hope you gained some money with yours since it had alot of options... was that a satnav or gps in your console under the radio? wow

I noted when you opened the engine compartment that this unibody could have been The Epsilon 1 platform same as the one used by Saab 9000 Alfa Romeo 164 and Lancia Dedra but I could be wrong

  • Nice casket in the back
