Orca Interaction at SeaWorld

PHOTOS & VIDEO. For those of you who think I'm messing up this whale's training: Please understand I had permission from a Marine Mammal Keeper at the park. I would never intentionally signal an animal if it would cause them harm. There was a SeaWorld employee monitoring me from afar the entire time.

My incredible orca-guest interaction at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. This young whale stayed with me for a good half an hour. I used a stuffed killer whale and ponchos (the whales were very curious about these) to play with her. Filmed on December 4th, 2009. This was definitely one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! She did behaviors for me like shakng her head yes, no, and open her mouth when I asked. Other people tried but she seemed to "pick me" to listen to at the time. Just an unbelievable experience. I would have gotten way more video but the camera battery died. Enjoy!

this was an amazing video very beautiful, i have seen an orca once in my life and sadly i barely remember it I used to live on Vancouver island for 5 years and not once was i blessed to see any.. you are very lucky to have been able to interact with this magnificent animal! it is seriously one of my greatest dreams to come in some form of contact with these gorgeous animal... but for now.. i will continue to see them in my dreams and that will be enough... again you are truley blessed!

im kind of tired of people saying that the animals hate being in the tank... ho wdo you know that? If they were born in captivity then they dont know any better!! So stop saying they hate that until you get your facts straight and study all about Orcas and all types of marine animals.

This video also made me cry. However i was crying as this poor animal is stuck in that little tank. Dont get me wrong i think animals on display at zoos are good for research however most of these animals have been researched for the last 70 years i would think that we have learned what we need to know. Now its all about the money and that is it. Very Sad
