  • I saw the movie when it first came out and bought the Text Ritter theme song on a 78 rpm shellac disc. I recently started learning the guitar at age 70 and started playing this song, kinda, and wondered why Duane Eddy hadn't recorded it. And blow me over, here it is! Thanks for posting.

  • dear sir: thank-you! ! ! . i have just finished vol seven of Duane Eddy's greatest hits. and shed yet. i am puttin 20 hits to a file. that's 140 songs of mr. eddy. and i think i can do two more. and i learned how to rdo my double pick-uo , hollw body guitar to sound twangy like his. thank-you so very much. i could not find most of these hits for 1,000 dollars. and you post them all for us to enjoy for free. you guys are a real treasure. thanks again

  • A friend of mine treated me to see " High Noon"  July 4,1952 my 17th birthday. He is gone many years now. Whenever I hear this song i miss my pal Stan.

  • Grace actually shot someone in this movie. Gary Cooper didn't see the miscreant, but Grace did. The last thing the miscreant saw was Cooper in his sites.
