  • The Dalai Lama is a wise man and his wisdom and compassion guides him as it should any man. However, his compassion truly overrides his wisdom in the light of Haidt's work. Still, he serves the purpose of the provocateur for the more consistently moral.

  • Jonathan Haidt is not impressed.

  • The Dalai Lama always struck me as a very good, reasonable man.
