  • Has anyone heard of quantum radio yet or am I too far in the past for that. In the future we communicate via quantum transmissions across the galaxy in real time.

Oops. Did I say that outloud? Uhm I don't think you guys are supposed to know about that yet.

    hmmmm....

Hope this doesn't screw things up.

  • Uhhhh just disregard that last comment. Obviously I must be mistaken, or just mentally disturbed. As far as anyone knows.

  • It's definately something to think about though. As is Tachion amplification, focusing and acceleration which leads to time shifting.

Damnit I think I did it again. I wonder if the elders will punish me for this.

Naaaa.... no-one would ever believe that anyways so I think I'm safe to mention it here.

  • Oh yea one more thing. Manipulation of gravity waves is a very important part of the future of space travel for humans. Has anyone messed with that yet?

  • with out magnetic induction are there other usable ways of transmitting power.

I've seen people do it at much grater distances then this or Wi-tricity

  • Well Tesla said it can be done with extremely high frequency ac current on a carrier wave kind of like radio waves

  • @C2XThunder

How much of the transmitted radio waves will hit antennas, and how much will NOT hit antennas and go to waste. THINK!

"Wireless Power" is a ridiculously inefficient and wasteful method of electrical distribution.

  • @RobinNishi. What is wrong with you tesla fanboys? You don't understand simple geometry. Wireless signals spread out. Only a tiny proportion of the transmitted waves will hit receiving antennas. The waves that do NOT hit antennas (i.e. most of them) are NOT received, they go to waste. Duh.

  • the point of teslas idea was to have multiple antennas and and regulate the power output in relation to the amount of receivers to reduce waste. yes much will goto waste but even hydro dams waste a lot of energy also the fact is you could never have this idea mainstream because you could never create a billing system to harvest a profit from wireless power transmission.

  • @Karma01010 You dont seem to understand how it works. The tesla coil could use a receiver working at the same frequency "leading" all the charge to it.

  • LOL OLD SCHOOL. THEY USE LASERS AS the coils in the airforce. They used hot airbloons before that. Now we have Harrp and beoing airbloons. The bloons collect the suns energy and relay them to Harrp. Harrp then uses Lasers to power anything. they bounce the signal off the atmosphere then back to a target. Mainly subs. Now UVA's. what would happen if the water in front of a sub was negitively charge and the sub positively charged. It would act like a magnet. the water would become less dense too.

  • @Karma01010 A tesla coil sends electricity, not magnetic fields or radiation. The only obstacle would be the resistance of the air and ground. Also energy hogs (jackasses) might pile up by the transmitters, stopping the energy from traveling far. Higher voltages like a billion volts may overcome the resistance of the air.

  • so I guess sun light goes to waste if it does not hit the earth.

  • @fusebox41 Hey pal My stardate is reading 11105.21 right now. Am I correct? If not I think I may be trapped in a paradox between my universe and yours. Can you please help me out? Is there any red antimatter near your home. I need it for my flux capacitor to initiate the warp machine on my vessel. Thank you. Live long and prosper.

  • I have a (maybe stupid) question : I know Tesla knew a way to isolate a frequency and "suck" all the energy transmitted on that frequency with minimum losses ; could we use that system to "tune in" the Earth's EMF frequency (~8.6 Hz) or the cosmic radiant energy ? I think the Joule thief is a resonant circuit that may learn us some about that

  • @mujaku Science is the new religion. I've said this for years. Its become so obsessed with status quo and dogma that to go against it has become the scientific equivalent of blasphemy. And this is coming from someone who really doesn't put much stock in radical pseudo science either.

Its a pity we cant go back to the early 20th century's attitude towards science and advancement. It was truly a golden age.
