And by the way, the people of Fuenlabrada got a lot of bullshit from the press and fans for rooting for Partizan when they played against other Spanish teams. They didnt care one bit, Partizan was their team. Also, Fuenlabrada's team these days are Playing the Eurochallenge using Partizan's colours as a homage for the 20 years of Partizan's presence in the City. Look for it!

Its amazing how this team full of young stars and the people of Fuenlabrada connected. Even tho its impossible to match the craziness and passion of the Pionir, that crowd really embraced Partizan as their team. You will not find a gym more noisy than that here. Maybe Miribilla in Bilbao... After Partizan had left, basketball became so popular that Fuenlabrada's basketball team became promoted to the ACB! (!).

Yo aprendí a jugar a basket emulando a Djordjevic (de hecho cuando empezaba a jugar me rapé el pelo al cero y me llamaban Sasha xD), me acuerdo de sus míticas coderas ya en la parte tardía de su carrera, de su tiro en suspensión increíble, de hacerse partidos con el Barça con un 8/8 en triples, la liga q ganó con el Madrid en Barcelona encarándose con los aficionados catalanes... genio y figura!! Menudo crack de jugador
