  • There are alot of songs about our country, this is one of the best. It doesn't get alot of play like others. It makes tears come to my eyes and my flag waving heart feel good. God Bless America, land that I LOVE

  • Man, this song says it ALL! We WILL make it again, no matter what the little cockroach currently stinking up The White House tries to do to us. We needed him to wake us up. He WILL fail and be forgotten. The best days are yet to come.

  • @TheDavidferal I hope you never are forced to stand on the front lines to defend your country and rights as an American. And.... I am not a bitch. I am a patriotic bitch!

  • I saw the Statlers in the early 80's and made every concert within driving distance after that. They still are my absolute favorite group and this is one of my favorite songs by them. I remember my mom driving me to school in the 70's and hearing "Bed of Roses" and asking my mom why she liked "that" kind of music. Years later I finally understood why they were one of her favorites.

  • Patriotism leads to ignorance. Stop living in the dream world, and get to the real world bitches.

  • Kind of ironic: showing the twin towers, jets, firefighters... and this was made in 1991.

  • I loved the Statlers and at one time owned every album they had released. This song, Silver Medals and Sweet Memories and More Than A Name On a Wall are my absolute fave Statler Brothers songs. These guys were the greatest and I miss seeing them when they would come within driving distance. I still want to kick myself for selling my old 8 track with Special Song for Wanda on it and only recently was able to find a digital copy of the song.

  • the statlers were the best...this song is better than any other song singing about america...just great

  • for those of you who didn't recognize the guy on the rollerblades, that is skateboarding legend tony hawk

  • I like these kinds of songs about America. Not the ones with a bunch of nasty politics in it. The hate towards our president also needs to stop.
