@WJAish Youtube is about traffic and conversion - not views. Getting a consumer in need of your services to find you is what it is all about. With no views from search - Google, YouTube and YouTube's related search, it typically means its not consumers watching this video.
WHAish, This video has 2970 views. You have 750 views from inman, where I saw it, 624 from future of real estate marketing, the rest from email and facebook. You have none from Google, YouTube search or YouTube related search. Your Keywords are "ben balsbaugh, pmz, pmz real estate, modesto real estate, stockton real estate, modesto foreclosures, modesto short sales, stockton foreclosures, stockton Those that are watching this video know about it already.
Ben, I like it, but This video is marketing to Realtors more than the consumer. You will have a few agents try and duplicate it, most worse. The truth is this....Consumers do not go to the internet to look for Realtors, they look for property, property is the value, not the agent. When they find the right property, 80% will pick the 1st agent they come across. This is good for branding with those that know and trust you-not for new business. 2 some it says its more about you than them.
@jbilsten I inadvertently deleted my last comment, but in my point I was going to ask that very question - what do you like, dislike, see differently than those who've commented? I really don't think anyone is implying that you're opinion is a bad thing, just some of us share differing views :) Different strokes for different folks, as they say.
All kidding aside, I'd like your feedback. As a client, you're the ones we're meaning to impress.
@roymckenzie That's the part that cracks me up. I'm a potential customer giving feedback to a business (something most businesses would PAY for) and instead of being met with "that's great feedback, we'll work that into our next campaign" it's met with an attitude of "well you don't know what you're talking about." Except... I'm the customer.
No one's asked me if any part of the video worked for me or not. Just that I don't know what I'm talking about and don't get the video. Great brand /s
@jbilsten I do not work for Ben Balsbaugh, but yes, I was in this video. I'm not sure what you mean by 'valid source'. I'm not even sure why you are taking so much issue with this video. It's a parody. It's entertainment. And you're right, most people don't care enough to comment, but you have. There are many methods of marketing people can use and brands from Coca Cola to Nike or even more serious businesses like ETrade or Progressive Insurance have used humor to grab peoples attention.
@roymckenzie you work for Ben Balsbaugh and you're in the video, how exactly are you a valid source for feedback and comments on the video?
To @CentralValleyLife's "point" taking marketing seriously would be to brand yourself in such a way that people would want to give you business and I'm telling you the brand you're outputting through this video is doing the exact opposite. (at least to me) Take it however you like. Most people don't even care enough to comment.
