i'm sorry to point out that this is not "spontaneous"... I'm from Granada and I can tell you those Gipsy Musicians know exactly what they're doing...that's only a show for tourists !!! The Gypsy group would never be playing Rumbas up there if there were no tips to collect from the innocent tourist who think that this is tipical... They usually can't even play real flamenco deep styles... most of them can only play Rumbas or maybe Tangos...

You are right the musicians are far from spontaneous, however they did put on a good show. What I did say was that the dancing was spontaneous,a large proportion of the crowd were Spanish and just savouring a beautiful evening. I saw a lot of bad musicians playing and then hassling for tips. That did not happen here, after a while they packed up and went and I walked a few metres from there and had an excellent meal... don't tell me that bar was only there to fleece the tourists too.
