For the March of Dimes, Eileen sings (okay, lip-synchs to a pre-recording) "I Have To" while lounging.

  • thios song is fantastic and it is the only song of hers ive heard in musioc video form

  • She is fantastic. I got to know her before she passed and she had a great sense of humor too.

I also did a slide show of pictures from her career (I got a lot of stuff of hers when she passed); do an Eileen Barton search - you'll see something called "IN PHOTOGRAPHS" and she sings "Toys"

  • I just co-produced a two-volume set of her radio performances from 1936-1958 (age 11 to 34!). Check it out on iTunes; just search for "Eileen Barton." Fun stuff.

  • This is a beautiful song by a beautiful young woman. She has lots of personality as we can see and does a very romantic job singing it in this video. I hadn't heard anything from her in years and I am so glad to see the songs by her you have posted. I've never forgotten "If I Knew You Were Coming I'd Have Baked A Cake". Thanks so much. - Paula

  • Lovely lady, lovely voice, lovely song. This is kind of like an early music video. Thanks for sharing this :)

  • Just found her on another video here on Youtube (uncredited) singing "The Syncopated Clock". Thanks for this!

  • lovey :)

  • Love this...she sounds like a mixture of Kitty Kalen and Judy Garland.

  • she is much better than elvis at singing love and 50's rock songs

  • Eileen was VERY talented and recorded a lot of great music, though mostly remember her baking a cake!

  • Lovely tune, lovely voice, lovely lady. Does someone out there know the chords to this tune?
