ya its very slow Bcoz me i have a laptop of 1GB of RAM and a processor pentium 4 1.8GHz with 3 OS installed vista,7,ubuntu and windows vista takes 30.50 second to start and windows 7 takes 29.10 to start.

it matters on the memory/ram and how much 1GHz you have on the computer. not as much the operating system. I have 4GB of RAM vista, with 2.16-2.17GHz processor, and 64-bit...so it's obviously gonna be different from a Macintosh...
