New child safety seat law

The new California safety seat law in effect Jan. 1, 2012, prohibits anyone from transporting a child under 8 years old without securing that child in an appropriate child passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards.

I am so sick of our government telling us what is good for us all the time. We are told what we can and can't do with out any say. I am glad I am old enough to be able to decide which laws I will and won't obey any more. there are getting to be more and more that I just ignore

I think it's WONDERFUL that the state of California is doing MORE to keep our children SAFE!
