@EmiMale I expect him to make FIFA run at a level of transparency similar to UEFA's. Although not entirely transparent (maybe not a much as some people wish), UEFA manages to run extremely effectively with very little controversy. I think a Platini is better because he would be a new face with a very good reputation (very popular with almost all of the media and other FIFA constituents), which amidst all of the recent controversy, such as GL-tech (which he supports), he would be a good choice.
I personally think that Platini should take over. Honestly, my reasoning for this is that he was a great player who has done (in my opinion) a very good job for UEFA. And I understand that FIFA is a very large and compicated business and see the advantages to having a businessman (such as Sepp) but regardless I feel Platini is the man. He deals with most issues very well with the exception of Euro 2016, although his bias is not only understandable, but something he has proudly admitted to. :)
