@bleachanimefreak420 99% of the torrents on kickasstorrents, thepiratebay, isohunt, fenopy, or any torrent site are copyrighted, therefore, they are illegal to download. It's possible that you can get caught and have to pay a large fine, but it's unlikely.

Technically, there is no way to prove that Limewire is illegal because they don't promote copyrighted pirating, they even tell you not to in the agreement.

@rabbidhedgehog The artists who unfortunatly have been stuck below the gap who work 5 times as hard as mainstream labels and artist, have a hard time barely making it when they deserve it. It will open up in a way so more and more people can get a job in music that they love, and that they deserve. Instead of having a big gap. It will balance out the music industry,if they could get it fixed, the problem is that i'ts almost impossible now, and music sharing websites dont help any.

@soccerstarj17 Listen, I agree with you mostly. Have you heard of what the band Radiohead did initially with their album In Rainbows? They produced it themselves, uploaded to their website, and if you wanted it, you were prompted with how much you wanted to pay for it. A lot of people entered in 0, but just the freedom to pay how much you want to pay made "In Rainbows" their most profitable album so far within a couple of weeks...and they're one of the most famous bands now. also check bandcamp

Not only has Limewire now been banned by a court injunction, but prosecutors RIAA are planning to press for compensation. They're all out to show their muscle now. They're want to put them out of business - they want blood.

Yet Limewire didn't break the law, they just made something that had the potential to be used illegally. Like guns. But no court in the US would attack a gun manufacturer, even though people are murdered daily with guns. This isn't about morals - it's about money.

Good thing you had the captions man, it was really informative but you need to work on your annunciation. It was very informative and very true - record sales don't really help the artist, they help the RIAA and the record labels, the big businesses that hide behind an artist and pretend like they did all the work while they take all their money.
