@EmaNeg07 Oooh.. Thanks for correcting. :)

@uniquelyanonymoslyme Actually, witness of her execution said that she wore a red petticoat under a loose, dark grey gown of damask trimmed in fur and a mantle of ermine.
Although she was famous for introducing the French Hood at the English court, the few surviving depictions of Anne during her reign represent her using the Gable Hood. Her famous paintings with the French Hood where painted years later of her death. In everything else, I'm totally agreed with you. ;)

Portman, although playing a very convincing and sympathy-compelling character, fails to represent the true Anne Boleyn; who met her end with far greater dignity and composure, as commended by many who observed her execution. This could be no fault of Natalie Portman's, possibly acting distraught at the insistence of her director. The film industry, however, should exercise much greater care and caution in upholding their obligation to represent 'history' as it actually occurred.

Natalie and Scarlett were robbed of Oscar nominations. Nat for Best Actress and Scarlett for Best Supporting Actress. Goddamn you Oscars!

Natalie is so talented, its unbelievable. She's played a stripper, a space queen, a 12 year old hitgirl, an perfection obsessed ballerina, Anne Frank and Anne Boleyn. She is just excellent! Her parents must just be filled with pride. Not to mention, she is one of the most beautiful, classiest and kindest actresses in Hollywood.
You just have to love this girl.

@TheQuietBanshee 5. She is wearing ermine, thought it would have been very expensive and Anne was in NO way could have afforded them at that time 6. She removed her necklace by herself, though in reality, It was probably her ladies who would have done it 7. She is wearing a Gable hood, thought Anne had in reality chosen to be often portrayed wearing a french hood 8. She was shaking when she was about to be killed although reports say that she was very calm and beautiful at that time
