Mo, My first try at encaustics I used crayons on watercolor paper. Knowing that I could not use crayons made me want to try it anyway. Looked beautiful. After it cured a few days I just sort of bent the paper and the chips of crayon came off. I then put beeswax on a substrate and embeded the chips into the wax. It is totally cool and I have come a long way since then. Thank you again for all the information that you have so generously given to your fans.

I love his work and we had to do a transcription painting for tech so I am using his alice in wonderland as my theme. Alice in wonderland was my fave book as a child, I called it 'wundis in landis'. Went to visit a friend at Westmead childrens hospital and there are about 5 originals of his there, they are fantastic. Also Tim Storrier and Max du payne, the whole place is an amazing art gallery. I must go and visit one day just to look at the art.
