Star Fox: Venom 3

Back in the Sector Z video, I made a comment about how Venom 3 was probably the only stage harder than Sector Z. Well, I decided that I had to take the challenge again, so I played Venom 3 at 60 FPS and recorded it. In my opinion, one of my best runs yet, even though I didn't get 100%.

Looking through the video, I think my only key mistake may have been missing the shield in the beggining. That could have saved me a good deal if I kept it into the tunnel to Andross. I guess I also made the mistake of flying into the projectiles during the fight with Andross. Not very smooth.

But other than that, I think my overall performance was pretty good. I didn't get hit during the first part of the level where avoiding everything is key, and I kicked Andross' ass once I started avoiding everything. Not only that, but I managed to save my wings in the tunnel. Usually, I slam a wing just before the Twin Laser in the tunnel. Not fun.

I realize that there's about 45 seconds of nothing at the end of the video. The reason for that, is when the game is going at 60 FPS, the credits are going much faster than they should, and they don't end with the music like they should.

And if you didn't figure it out, stages 2 and 3 show no score because I took the Black Hole for this path.

Your definition of "pretty good" must be my definition of "masterful." It could practically be Fox McCloud himself! I didn't think anyone would be this good, and I bet I could literally say you're 10 times better on your worst day than I ever was on my best! If the Star Fox Team really exists then they'd better sign you up, because I'm convinced I just saw what an ace can do!

this is very well played. cuz 1st of all its the hardest sf game and its on an emulator so that means ur probably using a keyboard ur very good.
