I love this video. It gave me a good idea of what NF2 is, for I sometimes get the two types mixed up. I am 14 with NF1. I had tumors along my spine and even one on my brain, when I was younger. Fortunately, they all went away. Almost one year ago, I had two tumors removed, one on my left shoulder and the other on my lower back, left side. Luckily, everything went well and we only had one problem(shoulder got clotted with blood) but that was fixed within a week or two. I am so very grateful t

@XxXxAlliecatXxXx i have the cafe au lait spots too and a huge thing on my left shoulder. i have no tomours that i know of. i havnet been back to the hospitle for it in like 10 years. im 18 now, do you know if tomours can start to grow even if there are none still

My little brother was diagnosed with NF2 when he was just 5 years old after they found a brain tumor. I am organizing a walk for him for this coming october to help bring awareness. I really liked your video, i remember watching it when we first found out he had it.

I hate the Café au lait spots. None of my friends know i have it cause its too hard for me too tell them. I hate having the Café au lait spots cause i just don't feel like a normal girl. I have Café au lait spots, dyslexia, add, anxiety ): i just hate it I feel like if i tell and show people the Café au lait spots on my stomach that they will not accept me & make fun of me and everyone will hate me

I am 31, have known that I had NF since birth. I have two of the bumps one on each arm, and some on the backs of my eyes if memory serves. Haven't been to a dr in years for it, as not only are they hard to find. But have had no problems with my NF.

My mom also has it, she is coverd with the bumps just having had two removed one that grew from her belly button and a second from her chin.
