Grand Funk Railroad -- Inside Looking Out -- 1970

Morning performance captured at the Cincinnati Summer Pop Festival (Crowsley Fields, Cincinnati, OH) June 13. Portions from this festival aired that summer on WLW-TV as a "Midsummer Rock" special. The same night Grand Funk and some other bands from this festival also played the Cosmic Festival in Atlanta Braves Stadium, while some others (also scheduled to play in Atlanta) just cancelled...
Additionally, Grand Funk had to re-arrange their Ocean Ice Palace appearance in Bricktown, NJ for the very next day [June 14] and then take a barely 4day off before a 8day series that eventually led to the Live Album documentation! That 'Grand' was the pressure for the Railroad - more than 130 appearances in 1970 (!)
Well, the video here is re-edited [shortened] so to fit the 10min. limitation :o(

I've seen Don drop his drumstick more times, but he was faster than Lucky Luke drawing his gun / pulling the trigger!

Right Larry, the blond girl is Cheri Chestnut who Mark married in November 14 1972 on Lee Pickens [Bloodrock] boat at the Eagle Mountain lake, Fort Worth, TX.

The name of the venue was actually "Crosley Field" not "Crowsley," which would close its gates forever later that month.
