Kunitz deserves anything. Pitt is as dirty a team as you can get. PK got a 2500$ fine. That's enough. No sympathy for dirty players on dirty teams.

But the nhl always is and always will be racist. in 2009 laraque did a pretty cheap knee hit on a player, he was penalized and had a suspension. A week later, ovechkin did the exact same thing on a player but of course he is ovechkin so he didn't get anything. Why is race even an issue here? Subban is a dirty player because he's a dirty player, not because he's black. Look at guys like Jarome Iginla, Wayne Simmonds, Evander Kane, they're black and they don't play dirty. But of course, when one black player plays the way that Subban does, it's a race thing.
