Smart Meters for Victoria

This short video provides a simple overview from a customer perspective of what smart meters do and the installation process being used by CitiPower and Powercor Australia for their VIctorian customers.

Once fully operational, smart meters will help customers manage their electricity consumption by helping them understand how much power they are using and when they are using it. Smart meters will also enable remote power connection, making power connections easier and quicker for customers moving premises.

Smart meters will help CitiPower and Powercor deliver a better service to our customers by helping us to better locate power outages and to restore power supplies quicker.
