NO, it's not a UFO !!!

The star Vega seen through the homemade Bahtinov focus mask, in my ETX125, imaged with the Celestron NexImage CCD imager (apparently really a TouCam webcam), video taken with the included capture software.

The Bahtinov focus mask is the best accessory for the money. (You can make one in an hour for basically nothing.) With it, you can know that you are precisely in focus, by lining up the center horizontal rainbow bar exactly between the crossed rainbow bars.
You can even set your parfocal eyepiece rings using it.

Just do some googling and you will find plenty of web pages on Bahtinov masks, and you will even find the program I used to generate and print mine.
