Every year, 65,000 stressed horses are packed into trucks and driven long distances across Europe to slaughter. Exhausted, diseased, injured and travelling for days over thousands of miles: these horses are desperate for food, water and rest. I feel sick to my stomach and light headed at the thought of all these horses being slaughtered. This is sickning, it is like eating dog meat! Horses have so many other possibilities other then for eating, why don't people see that!!

UK horses should be slaughtered in UK, thus giving UK people jobs.. Plus much less trauma for horses... From a horse owner
