The Truth of New Channel Layouts

Update: The forced over change was delayed by a few months but we all now have the new channels and most of us hate the new features.

This is what is really happening. First any new account created today will only be able to use the new layout. Non-partner channels will have their layouts changed automatically on July 15, 2009. Partners will have their channels changed later. YouTube for the past two months have been encouraging as many people to switch to the new layout's on their own. Unfortunately, the new layouts suck and most of us do not want to. Certainly everyone can agree that even if you like the new layout, it should be an option. Many of us are proud of the hard work it took to customize our home page, and do not like the uniform look of the new layouts.

I misspoke it is 1 million dollars a day on bandwidth not 2 million.

@1ILUVANIMALS sure that channel defaults to playlist when you first visit it. To add a video to a playlist go to any video and click the "save to" button and select playlist. You can also choose to set your channel to show favorites and you add videos to your favorites by clicking the same "save to" button.

To select favorites or playlists go to your main channel and click on the "videos and playlists tab on the top of your channel page

WTF is this! i hate the "NEW" layout! WTF google who cares about bandwith!! thats got NOTHING 2 do wit wat there servers hold. and my big BIG BIG conern is WAT THE FUCK IS WIT THE COMERCIALS N ADDS! all the videos i click on got a 30 sec comercial BEFORE the video i want even stars so WE are forced 2 watch some google and shit before we get 2 watch a 25 sec video. GOOGLE U FUCKED UP YOUTUBE FACE IT! .. n cabbie TUST ME! THOSE PRICKS R "NOT" LOOSING MONEY! OR THEY WOULDNT BE DOING THIS!
