  • @jimlap221 it must be the monitor at 0:37 thru 0:39 - breath holding; and around 0:50 thru 0:52--breath holding. This "demo is not damn good"--fins are left on, the gear is not organized under water, air remains in the BC, the diver is not executing this procedure in a competent manner--neither taking off, nor putting on the gear. This video might be used to provide students with an idea of what to expect for the procedure, but certainly not for performing the procedure competently.

  • @JiveTalkinTool

Look again dude. He was exhaling constantly from what I could see. Your monitor must be messed up. That was a damn good demo.

  • If you'[re instructing this student, you need to be re-educated.

NO BREATH HOLDING AT ANY TIME ON COMPRESSED AIR AT ANY DEPTH!

This diver hold breath repeatedly during the ditch after removing the reg and prior to surfacing--steady CONSTANT stream of small bubbles is what is taught by NAUI!

Way to jeopardize the health of your student.
