Here is the link to Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3MMCDKGpF4

This two part video drum lesson demonstrates hand techniques that start at the beginner level and will go through intermediate and advanced levels. These techniques are designed to help you achieve speed, control, dynamics and endurance while allowing you to stay relaxed and injury free.

PART 1 will focus on: balance point, grip, rebound, wrist & finger control, dynamics (ghost notes through power strokes) and more.

PART 2 will focus on multi bounce strokes such as Push-Pull, Moeller techniques for playing three note bounces per hand (to achieve 16th note triplets) as well as four note bounces per hand (to achieve 32nd notes), timing, endurance exercises and more.

These are techniques that I learned from studying with master drum teacher Chuck Brown. Thanks Chuck!

  • @SCHneeWill Tbh, this is one of the best ways to learn. Watch the video, and then take it to the practice pad. Or you can download the video and then play while watching.

  • @SCHneeWill Well if you can't find a qualified teacher in your area better start looking for someone who can teach you by webcam.I tried a lesson by webcam and it works.

  • @CarlosMacMartin the difference is that Jojo's DVD costs money. And this guy is doing it for nada. Look around, you'll see hundreds of videos that teach these techniques. So are you posting your, "I already found this" comments there?
