The iPB is a different platform. 1st it is advanced when it comes to processing power 2nd it is a pedalboard rather than a Multieffect. The difference here is that the signal flow is freely configurable. You decide what your guitar signal hits first second and so on. You even decide where your amp comes into that frame and what will sit in the loop of your amp

@ralfjung I am a unluckily one tried getting tickets who missed on tickets, too.
The iPB's independent sounds radical but sounds like it is too dependent on Apple iPod obsessives!
Q:What about the millions without any Apple ownership and their restrictions?
What happens if you don't want own or buy any Apple products especially the iPad 2?
I love the fact that it a pedal-board not a Multi-effects. Also, there is freedom to do whatever guitar signal flow you want or configure! Brilliant.

@ziggystardust48 Question against your question...what about he millions ipad owners? I mean there are plenty of units out there which do not need a ipad to run them but there are 40 million ipads in the field by the end of this year. The number of Apple products are higher among musicians/artists so this product is not completely missing its target smile. Ipad 1 or 2 does not matter as the iPB is delivered with a plastic adapter to adress the different sizes of the tablets.
