Actually there were 4 covers on the "Emancipation" album.

The one you left out was the first single "Betcha By Golly Wow," originally performed by The Stylistics.

If U hear the start carefully, just when the drums start Prince says: "WE DIDN'T WRITE THE SONG..... BUT LISTEN..." so lets get over it with who wrote it.
Its a classic and Prince put the pearls in it!

Prince did not write this song. The beginning of this version is from "Love, Thy Will Be Done," which is by Prince, but "One Of Us" was written by Eric Bazillian. I love this song. He turns the irony of the original into something much more spiritual and personal.
