If he's had to work this hard to qualify, there is no way he shouldn't be able to run. When artificial leg technology is good enough that it's easy for paralympians to outrace people, then we can talk about this, but that's not where we are yet

i want to see more technology used to enhance all athletes. there should be a swim races where everyone wears fins. look at what people can do on ice skates, roller-blades, skis, skate boards, wing suits, etc...so maybe there should more running races with bouncy stilts
