yep Im in the new ge of fans watching it on 111 hits :3 and I heard Val Leehman (Bea Smith) still gets paied for any re-runs XD and I think Ericia isnt a bad govener more so she is overworked with the understafed prison XD

WOW!!! Prisoner Cell Block H was my favorite show as a kid. I watched every single episode from 1979-1981, then it disappeared from American television. I was "heart broken" Thanks to Youtube, I'm able to catch up on all the episodes over 30 years later. Thanks so much for the upload.

@ilovekevinsacre I assume they often show clips with Margaret Laurence only because they start with episode 1 when searching for clips and she happens to be in many of the early scenes. It can't be because she was especially popular or played a memorable character.

i stayed up in the 70s to watch this show...i cant rem how old i was.....10 maybe.....bea was my hero.....and i still watch it now. its easy why it was popular....they were real women..... the charectars were entertaining..lizzie. everyone knows it wasnt realitic, it was pure entertainment ahead of its time
