@ITSMANDYBITCH1 Tamers had cards, but have you actually seen anything more than a glimpse of the card game? They never showed a full game at any point. And those cards let the digimon do something besides evolving to defeat stronger foes.

Also, Tamers gets points for permanent death + killing a tamer's digimon.
