Evidence points to Jesus having a skin color that is most likely darker in complexion than the usual portraits of a blonde hair and blue eyed image of Jesus that we are used to. I have no idea what he really looked like because there is not any historical accounts of a physical description. the description that many relate to him in the book of revelation would describe almost an albino.

14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

  • wow! this is amazing! did u use too much of linseed? this is great! can i ask something? how would i make the eyes look realistic? pls. i really need it,

  • @wingINTELLIGENCEmb when i paint i dont use oils to thin my paint. i always use paint straight from the tube. if i want to speed up the drying or thin a paint, i will just mix some turpenoid with it.

I will post a video on how to do eyes for you. if you havent subscribed, now would be the time to do it, so you know when the video is posted.

    thanks for watching!

  • @GelvinStudioofArt i've just red your reply. thankyou so much sir i appreciate it a lot!!! all your works are amazing! i hope i could do things like this someday! i wanna be as good as you :D

is turpenoid a turpentine? the one used to remove paints from brush???

    thnakyou!!! :))

  • @wingINTELLIGENCEmb turpenoid is a paint thinner that isnt as strong smelling as turpentine. you can use it indoors, it has very little scent. but still, it should be used in a well ventilated area.

    thanks for your kind words.

  • He wasn't that dark. Jews aren't black or Arab. Just pointing out the facts.

  • @mbsells77 Why does his skin color matter? does it change his message or your view of him?

many scholars would argue his skin tone would be darker.

  • Personally, I paint my jesus with purple skin, but to each their own

  • @MegaMillie12 the portrait wouldnt look human. it would look like a bronze statue with white hair. The images John saw in that book were in a dream, Its not how Jesus would have actually looked in life. If he was even similar to that description, he would have been considered an albino. white hair, red eyes, bronze skin (bronze is similar to brass color on the light yellow side).

  • maybe it is too much too ask can you draw a Jesus as described in Revelation 1:12-17

thank you i really would love to see this drawing of our true savior if it is not to much? :)

  • @hiakinproud you have no evidence of that ad cannot back up any thing you say. inspiration is not a factor in how valid something is, or true or false. Either God wrote the bible or he didnt. God created the heavens and the earth, but he has problems with literature? couldnt he have wrote something perfect that would be understood by all and never needing interpretation? Why use man to do something he could do perfectly the first time? the bible is not the word of God. it is the word of man.

  • The Prophets that wrote the Bible were writing from the Holy Spirit, that was sent to us after Jesus ascended to Heaven to be the Counselor that God said would come after Jesus died and rose again. So yes they were men that wrote the Bible, but God was telling them what to write through the Holy Spirit. So Yes it was Gods Word.

  • @torymiles27414 and where did you get those facts from?

  • the ancient Jews were black you ass wipe, don't believe the conspiracy cover up. the new world order is a lie

in those times there were only blacks.

  • @NeKishaRowe if you believe the literal interpretation, please explain to me the two different geneologies of jesus in the new testament. also, if god did not write the bible, and it was inspiration that had it come to be, and it was written by man...how can it be the word of god? it sounds to me like its the word of man. also, im hoping since you take it literally, you are not using the king james version.

  • @NeKishaRowe the point behind those verses was talking about respect during prayer and covering ones head. how long hair on a woman is glory but on a man its a disgrace. these were rules for the corintihian church that were devised after the death of christ. its not words of god or jesus, but paul noticing that men had a tendancy toward baldness(once again regional). if its so wrong, why do many jews and rabbi have long hair? wasnt jesus the king of the jews?
