SKINNY MINNIE AND TWO TON TONY
I knew a gal named skinny Minnie
Two squeaks shy of itty bitty
Weighed in at less than half a blush
So skinny make a toothpick jealous
Don't use a straw cuz she might slip in
Don't need a hat when it starts raining
Thinner than a sideways dime
Thin as a whiff of half dollar wine
One day Minnie was out a strolling
She felt a tremor set the trash cans rolling
Up the boulevard came two ton Tony
Just off the ship from Barceloni
Now two ton Tony ambled up beside her
Cracked a smile about as big as China
He thought, girl you ain't no more than a whisper
She thought, this guys as big as a Texas twister
But all a suddenly, Tony's world got spinny
His heart went to thumping and his mind got swimmy
Minnie had a similar reaction
Such are the laws of oppositional attraction
There was a wedding and a big buffet
Toasts and boasts and Chardoney
Minnie had a stick of celery
A spoonful of grits and a dab of honey
Bought a place out in the suburbs
Sturdy floors and extra cupboards
One baby girl, thin as a water drip
One baby boy, big as an eclipse
When searching for the object of your affection
Don't go looking in the wrong direction
The world is filled with inconsequential chatter
If the hat fits right than the package don't matter
i love this song and i love you
