Sounds a bit like Joan Sutherland. Beautiful voice and obviously a real treat to look at. I wished she did concerts. She can probably sing both popular and obviously operatic numbers. GReat to have a legend like her alive and doing well!

@IShudBeStudying Indeed! You may know that Herge actually hated opera all his life, and that Bianca Castafiore was based off soprano Aino Ackte (her rendition of the 'Jewel Song' can also be heard on youtube).

She was wonderful - a great vocal talent, and stunning looks. Her Musetta has never been bettered. In person, she was the sweetest, kindest, most generous lady, and had a comedienne's sense of humor. I will always love her.
