@thunderball2075 it is a collab of both. Units already on scene, 911 callers, and dispatchers in communications may advise us of information that we may need to know before arriving on scene, but most of the diagnosis and decision making is done upon arrival. Hope I helped

@KentlandVFD here is my question for you and all of your brother firefighters when there is an M.V.A or motor vehicle accident the rescue engine and one of the P.G county ambulances are en route do you guys get a overview of what needs to be done before you guys get to the scene of the accident or do you guys instantly know what to do off the top of your head while you guys are heading to an accident

@rescue75squad750 most the time its the mini

i dont get why all these so called brothers are bitching to one another. shut the fuck up were all firefighters for the same god damn reason and thats to protect the public so grow a pair of fucking balls and be the firefighter you are supposed to be and another thing who the fuck cares if your on a full time paid dept or a volly dept bc there is no difference im on a full time dept and a volly dept and just so you know i learn more and do more training as a volly. grow a pair of balls!!!

Hell of a video!!!

what firemanx424 said is true, when we get a med. local it will normally be the mini pumper. Dispatch may originally send the engine to a stabbing or shooting but it is the stations job to dictate whether they send the engine or the mini pumper.

@KentlandVFD oh i know bro but we sadly are just an ambulance/squad company in hagerstown so we dont have an engine or anything though :/. i wish we did but we have an ALS duty officer who runs mutual aid and any other ALS chase calls worthy of a duty officer

hey i dont have any idea how many calls they get and they do go on medical calls but it is probably only the duty car or the mini pumper that goes on the medical calls
