At 9:00 AM June 12, 2009, after nearly 55 years of analog broadcasting on channel 15, WANE-TV shut off its analog signal and remained its digital channel 31. I also submitted this to the JawToons web site (for those who want to see the SD version)

TO LIN TV: Go ahead and claim copyright, but if you would rather see this clip removed, please contact me and I will remove it.

  • no national anthem.

  • I agree.

  • 1 million watts, hm I should be able to pick this up in Indy if that was the case. mwahah time to play the rotator lol

  • My local ABC is 14.6k watts, if they station was 1,000,000 then I would receive it and I live about 100 miles away.

  • 1 million watts???

That's a LOT of power for digital television. My local station is only 5000 watts.

  • tornadoguru6: They had been slowly sucking power out of that signal for some time. It only makes sense.
