@acoustics1514 Does / Did your clarinet and flute sections have the curse of getting hit with by the flagline accidentally? Because, if that happened to you, it would be about the equivilant of the sousaphone player's mouth piece to the lips to the teeth.

@AUDIRS41997 Especially during a competition or even exhibition, if you are out of step, out of line or circle its up to you to get to your nest set, or the entire band's sets look out of place. So, if people help, it just looks like crud. But afterwards, the rest of the band makes sure you're alright. :)

Ok this has nothing to do with the sousaphone or tube fail, but when the rest of the color guard catch their tosses really fast, the last one is like.....any day now...oh yay I caught it :DD

@mel14kentucky Damn, that sucks. My director learned his lesson. We never marched if it rained(and at the beginning of marching season it rains quite a bit) and the field looked like shit.

People, stop getting on other's cases about it being called a Sousaphone (yes, SOUSAPHONE, for you morons who keep griping at people and misspelling it yourself). A sousaphone is a marching tuba, a contrabass is a marching tuba, a tuba is just the general name for a concert tuba. Either way, it's a TUBA, so quit getting your panties in a bunch when people simply say tuba!
