  • That piece of conduit was super deep. I was wondering if you tried it in auto with an open screen and what was your gain and recovery set at? Thanks HH

  • I had deep on ,Fast on,gain 28.....about maxed on e-thing but sensitivity....

I did toggle to all metal ,when I hit it in manual 16& it still gave dime quarter reading in manual...Then Nothing in Auto/2..So I switched back to disc black @ 23+.

I couldn't believe the auto sens runs so low in my back yard...I hunted it a couple days this summer & last fall...I could only hunt A+3 for 10 minutes before it fell down from16 to 7...@ A+3...I am going to try a PI this summer 2 see what else is there

  • Thanks Everyone for your comments...

    I may try a few more of these...When I get 'Cabin Fever'..LOL

  • Great video Dave ! Yeah when you under power line can`t raise the sens to high.

  • You should make instructional Vids when you cant get out dave, ya good at it, you sound like you know what ya talkin about. it's much easier for folk to actuall see whats goin on. Question? Are the basic settings the same on all minelab machines? would a penny b the same number display on the E,Trac and X-Terra range. Good Vid

  • I haven;t used an etrac, so all I can say is ,very interesting. I was wondering if switching noise cancel channels one at a time would allow a higher auto sens. Being able to see that sens. number seems like it does have advantages, thats a nice feature to have. Nice video Dave, HH

  • That was very interesting. You defied conventional wisdom and discovered something new about hunting around high emi. Way to go, Dave!

  • Nice tutorial on the E-Trac. Good job.

  • Thanks for the tips!!! I would really like to give a Minelab a try someday!!! Great video!!!

  • I've got two telescopes I'm hoping to unload on a couple folks & I'm buying an E-TRAC. Period! Keep the vids coming Dave. I'll need them. All you Minelab users are so free with information. Its a great way to learn.
