Today, March 4, 2011, Meade went back to the Capitol rotunda to see what things were like after the overnight-sleeping protesters had been cleared out pursuant to a state court order. It was easy to get into the building, and lots of protesters were back with their usual chants. But one man, who did not agree with the protesters, took the center space, to the consternation of the others, and invited people to come talk to him one-on-one. A First Amendment hero!

  • Another thing that is quite funny is how the left seems to think that everyone will bus in planted protesters because that is common for them to do that. lol

  • It's amazing the liberals here can't even articulate what the hell they are protesting about. This totally reinforces the fact this whole charade is a total hijacking by the radical left. You teachers that are protesting better wise up and go home before you find yourselves out of a job.

  • I was a union member for 16 years and I can vouch that most union members are uninformed on the issues they are protesting beyond the talking points their union leaders give them, that's exactly why they don't want engage in discussion but would rather chant or deliver a slogan and walk away when you attempt to discuss. Also, have to say, it's funny they keep chanting about democracy when unions all over are trying to do away with the ability to vote for or against the union with a PRIVATE vote

  • I support the Union of teachers, but I approve not the national anthem.

  • The opening chant, in case anybody missed:

    Don't take the bait

    Don't take the bait

which was inferring that the guy discussing issues in the center of the rotunda was there with ulterior motives under false pretenses, that is, he was an opposition plant (ostensibly for Walker) ... we don't know his true motives, but, he did want to discuss the issue from a different aspect ... and for that he is to be applauded ...

Oh - and catch young Barack Obama organizing some chants at 2:41

    .

  • I love this guy.

  • They shout down out any opposing view. This is much like the senators in Illinois making my vote in the last election meaningless.

  • These union folks have no tolerance for anyone with a different view.
