  • well it is boring because all u can see is coffins soz.

  • @vickster3010 No coffins!

  • i think people are getting confused. it was not Anne Boleyn who broke our bonds with Rome but rather it was Catherine of Aragon. if she had agreed to the annulment, or retired to a nunnery then yes henry would have married Anne and had children, but England would still be under the influence of Rome and the papacy. It is because Catherine refused to step aside that henry looked to other ways of divorsing her.

  • @booshbabe69 It wasn't Catherine or Anne, it was Henry and he was only really establishing his own version of the Catholic Church, it wasn't exactly the Protestant church we know today

  • @AnneBoleynFiles agree! Henry became head of the church in England instead of the pope, still catholic.

Edward was the first protestant ruler of England.

  • @ShillakerJoy Yes and then everything went backwards again when Mary I became Queen!

  • @leananshae I think she thought it was best to let sleeping dogs lie. She was already facing enough opposition without drawing attention to the fact that she was still deemed illegitimate and that her mother had been found guilty of treason. I think Elizabeth was sensible in keeping her feelings private.

  • Noble women in England must have been terrified whenever Henry became single again

  • @Deaflemming1 I believe it was the Duchess of Milian who said "If I had two necks to spare I would accept, but I have only this one neck" This was after Jane's death and by then the rumors had been spread that he set up his second wife and dug his son out of his third. Woman tried to stay far away; Which is why Anne of Cleves never fought him!

  • @booshbabe69 there is alot of work done by Anne Boleyn that is forgotten and she is credited for that although it gets misunderstood; She was protestant and worked very hard to promote its beliefs; Yes in the end it was very much Henry who offically broke the bond, as he's the only one who could, but there was alot of influences helping push his hand. Had Catherine accepted the divorce I'm not sure what would have happened but Anne did have a hand in the reformation.

  • @vickster3010 When Anne was beheaded there was no coffin available for some reason. So they burried her under the ground with her head under her arm.

  • @booshbabe69 Catalina no rompio los lazos con Roma, es lo menos que ella hubiese querido. Fue Enrique

  • Is this the same church in the Tower where Thomas More's body is? Thank you!
