We dont look at you as a superpower to come and save us!! Stop using the vetos in the UN and stop crippling the peace keeping efforts and let UN do the job through equal voting

its simple: do you have a right to say unamerican things and say you like terrorism, yes thats your american right. but when you join and aid the enemy of our nation, its treason, punishable by death. very simple; its in the constitution that so many people "proclaim" to uphold

All I can say is that not all Americans think this way or thought that way, but it's embarrassing to see the prevailing mentality of the day...

Some Americans are so stupid it’s unbelievable
Why do they think they are smart when their stupidity is so obvious?
I don't get it.....

I can't believe how misguided Maher and the rest of this panel are in the wake of September 11th, They think the reason we are hated is because we won't act? It is because when we do help we are often giving with one hand and taking with the other, because there is so much abuse of the power to help. America has been a force for good, but sometimes we don't go places unless they are strategic and offer something that will line our own pockets for the next half century or more.

No... that's a stupid idea that if a great country is asked for aid, suddenly they are immune from criticism. What, then is the reason we spend so much time in retrospection over our awful fucking mistakes. This attitude obviously allows for all kinds of malfeasance.

@nvieira100 Well if you interpret that word "attack" as meaning the initiation of a battle or war, then there are only the Revolution, the Civil War, the Mexican-American war, and Pearl Harbor to consider as candidates. A lot of those are pretty subjective.
But I'm pretty sure he was talking about when the British burned down our nation's capital. That's pretty reasonably interpreted as an "attack," retaliatory or not.
Hawaii wasn't part of the U.S. when Pearl Harbor was attacked, it was a South Pacific naval base - not a state. Both Hawaii and Alaska didn't become States until 1959. So what are you talking about?

Funny thing in this video that the Americans, who think they're the only democracy in the world, have to be reminded by a European of the human's right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Even funnier is that they fail to get it!
