The Second Reality Project TAS: "Bowser's Starship"

So, some of you may wonder why I put a speedrun up for TSRP, while the remake is almost finished? Let me explain why. A while back I was working on Bowser's Starship for the remake, and thanks to all the advanced stuff you can put in an SMW-Hack today, you can't avoid to slow down the game with that. Which is really a shame. Bowser's Starship was one of the few levels were the slowdown gets very noticable, and as a result I had to take quite a few sprites out to make it easier playable. Sometimes you have to take compromises, I guess. Anyway's at the time the heavy slowdown occured I was wondering if there was any slowdown at all in the original level, so I went back played the very original version, and yeah. No slowdown at all. And the result is that speedrun here. On a side note, what you'll see here is the first version of the level as featured in the original hack of 2002. The remake level will be based on the easier "SNES"-Version, which was released back in 2004. It still have a few differences (mostly because of compromises thanks to the slowdown) and it also will finally feature a midway point.

Last but not least, as you may notice, I didn't bother to run through the final Bowser Battle, you have already seen that many times, so the video ends at the part where the final battle starts.

I have complete it on the reloaded version without savestate but thier is alot of problems with this level. The backgraound is a castle and the music is Bowser music. You forgot to put what was behind the door. Can you tell me what was?

This level was INSANELY hard and brutal ... probably a test of SMW skills.

The one in TSRPR is slightly easier (And looks a lot more high-tech).

Nothing much to say, the water part can be inproved a little, but only a few prames.
